Home Care for your loved one
We provide non-medical home care for elderly/seniors, persons recuperating from
illness/surgery/hospital stays, expectant/new Moms, respite for family
caregivers and hospice care
through in-home caregivers. We offer our elder care services at personal
residences, hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities or wherever our
clients reside. Our caregivers are available for a few hours a day/week to 24
hours live-in care where the caregiver lives with the senior/elderly.
We are dedicated to maintain the dignity, independence, safety and well being
of our clients. We achieve this through a detailed assessment of the seniors personal
needs involving themselves, their family and the physician/hospital if
necessary. This allows us to determine a customized elder care plan and propose 2-3
caregivers, bring them to your home for an interview and ask you to participate
in the selection process. A good and convenient start is to complete our online
in-home care assessment form. We will get in touch with you as soon as possible.
We thoroughly screen our caregivers to make sure that they
have the necessary experience, knowledge and last but not least that they love
to care. Every caregiver has to undergo a criminal background and references
check, is bonded/insured, trained in first aid/CPR and emergency response.
We serve Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, Riverside and San
Bernardino counties.
Residential Care Facility for the Elderly
Our residential care facility for the elderly (RCFE)
is a State of California licensed (License No. 197605877) five bedroom private home located on a quite cul de sac in Winnetka, in
the Western San Fernando Valley very close to Woodland Hills, Chatsworth and
Northridge.
We offer superior quality home-like living to adults with physical
limitations over the age of 60 years who have a greater need for care and help
with the activities of the daily living and are at risk living alone. Our board

conditioning/heating, smoke detectors, cable TV, private telephone (if desired)
and enough space to accommodate your personal belongings. Our large, covered patio

Our very low patient/caregiver ratio of 2 to 1 ensures a very personal
service and close supervision of our residents. We provide an open door policy
for families/friends of our residents. We welcome them to visit their loved-ones
at anytime and participate in ongoing activities and birthday/special holiday
celebrations.

About us
Am-Swiss Elderly Care is owned and managed by a wife/husband team dedicated
to offer professional and compassionate care for elderly in the greater Los
Angeles area. It is our objective to help you, your parents, spouse, relative or
friend who came to a time in life they need help. Vicky and Bruno have extensive
experience in elder care and are
both State of California licensed administrators for elderly residential care
facilities. We
provide a warm, safe and caring environment where all of the elderly needs are met,
be it at their own home or at our own residential care facility. Exceptional elderly care takes a very special group of people. Many think they can take
care of an elderly person, but it takes a very special person to do it well and
professionally. That is our first consideration, professionalism and the love to
care. Consequently and because we have loving people in our employment and we treat them well in return, our employees stay for many years providing
continuity of quality care.
